We bought this replacement because of the extended battery power. After one year, the battery kept the laptop running for about 30 minutes. Now, two years later, the battery charge lasts about 4 minutes. I do not recommend this product. In the future, I'll be spending the extra money on a Toshiba product.

My experience with this product was not a good one. The battery was charged for 12 hours. It started out at 29% of capacity. The next morning the battery registered 100%. Remove the external power and the laptop shutdown. I removed the battery and put the old battery back in and the laptop was happy.

I checked the voltage at each of the 6 terminals. 5 reported no voltage and 1 reported 2.7 volts.

I checked the original battery (5 years old) and 5 terminals reported 2.6 - 2.7 volts and 1 clocked in at 1.3 volts.

The price was good and I took a chance and lost... It looks like I'm out the shipping.

The vendor "The computer doctor" has been very responsive and I will be sending the defective item back to him.
