Yes, this unit looks like the OEM ones installed. It does look like a factory unit and the color also matches the night time dash in the 2009 Toyota Venza. You can change the unit back lighting between blue and orange. Installation was done by me. I used to professionally install car stereos. It was easy installing the unit but you will want to tape the dash around the area that you are working around to avoid scratching the dashboard. The wire sets are plug and play but there are a lot of RCA plugs that are extra and may confuse a novice if self installing. These RCA plugs are well marked. Heads up, there are no installation instructions in the kit but it was very easy to install. Use youtube "Rosen nav installation in a venza" to see how to get the radio out if you are installing your self. You will end up with two extra cables from your stock radio, the XM radio antenna(a blue square headed connector)and a smaller than normal male antenna cable. Toyota uses two antennas in their radios, one standard size and one smaller. You need to get a Motorola "Y" adapter and a Toyota Matrix Pigtail that fits the smaller male antenna end and makes it a standard size to fit the "Y." I have read where other installers tape off the smaller antenna and do not use it, your choice.

The navigation works well, better than the portables ones that I have and what is nice is when using it the nav cuts out the music when giving you instruction. The bluetooth works really well and is easy to use. I'm not a big XM radio guy and didn't care about it when purchasing this unit. The USB cable works well on a number of devices. The Ipod/Iphone cable works well but its not the new connectior that the Iphone 5 uses. You would need to use your Iphone 5 cord and plug it into the USB cord.

This is a good unit. It looks like a factory unit and the color also matches the nightime dash in the Toyota Venza. Installation was done at Bestbuy and the installer had breeze installing the product. The navigation works well and so does the bluetooth. I just wish there was some way to have satellite radio installed in the unit. I had to get a portable unit and add a RCA Y cable to the back of the unit just to get a 3.5 output jack which by the way doesn't produce a good sound quality so I just use the FM transmitter method for my XM radio. The usb cord charges my phone and it has a Ipod/Iphone cable but I don't know how well it works because I don't own either device.

I was very excited, waiting to have this unit installed in my Venza, but things didn't work out well after installation. First of all the steering wheel function was not working properly. Secondly, the unit wouldn't turn off by itself after I removed the car key. The unit wasn't stable. This happened twice! The seller NewerStone shipped the item from China, and I had to pay $ 67.66 out of pocket to return a defective product all the way back to China! I wasn't aware at all about this, so beware where the item is shipping from ! The layout, display and buttons were different from the images advertised on Amazon website. There was no need for installation manual. Installation of the unit was easy for me with average level, no issues, but the user manual was completely useless !

Good things about it: The unit looks great and matches Venza dash perfectly. The unit's keys lights up only in green. The second star goes for the GPS, CD, DVD, screen resolution and sound quality that was working well as it promised. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me.

It's decent. Fits my Venza perfectly. The bluetooth works for music but it often loses connectivity with my smartphone; annoying as hell.

People complain about a "wind tunnel" sound when I use it to talk to them through the bluetooth but I hear the same complain with many cars.

The steering wheel controls do not automatically sync. You need to program them in settings; not hard.

The DVD player works while driving ... not the safest thing in the world but if you have common sense, you won't watch a movie while driving.

I still use my smartphone for GPS - just too much effort to type in addresses on the GPS system but if you want to use it, it works just fine.
