i bought this charger for my wife so i could talk to her while im deployed. at first it worked fine but a week of use its started coming apart at the connection to the compute, she put it back together and kept using it. a few days later it completely stopped charging the computer altogther. we tried talking to the company to get a replacement charger and they gave us the run around so im leaving this review to warn people of a shoddy product.

The low price is not worth a power cord that falls apart after two months and does not charge the battery. Piece of junk.

Purchased for my laptop due to the original dieing on me. From the beginning it wasn't able to charge my laptop. It would cut off in the middle of me doing something. I would have to wait for it to charge up enough to cut it back on. It would shut down about 15 minutes later. Very bad adapter. If I could, I would give this product a zero.

This item works like it is supposed to but the connection is loose. I saved a lot of money buying it at Amazon so I am not complaining but I do wish it would not fall out so easily when I move my laptop.

It worked fine at the begining but it died after a few uses. I tried to contact the seller and they didn't answer me back.

I read the previous reviews on this product but I just figured they had a different laptop than me, so it would be ok. This product worked for almost a month and then it just stopped working. There was no warning it just stopped working and my computer died. This product may be a quick fix but it also ends quick. Do not buy this product!

I knew this wasn't the original Sony charger for my Vaio, but I assumed power is power. Well, upon using it for the first time, I noticed my touchpad's mouse would not properly respond to my movements. It was quite bizarre and frustrating considering this was a new laptop. I thought it was the computer. Until, I moved my comp back upstairs to the OEM charger where it works fine. But, the second I plug it into this charger - the mouse freezes and has a delay.

Point is, yes, it charges the battery. But, if you want to USE the computer while it's charging, good luck. I just wonder if it is affecting anything else that I should be concerned about? Eek.

I searched for a replacement for my power supply for my laptop and I thought "WOW" I can't believe that I found one this low in price. It was to good to be true. Please go directly to Sony for a replacement. Mine didn't even last two weeks. I found out that the number after the voltage is what matters. The replacement purchased here only had a 1 after the V which means only one volt. That's why it did not last. Be careful not to go over the voltage required for your laptop or you could blow your hard drive.

Purchased this in December. It's now April and it doesn't work anymore. Good for the price, but irritated with having to buy another one.

Today this charger died. I don't use my computer often and unplug it while it is off so I expected this charger to last longer then a month.
