This is a great replacement battery for my Game Boy Advance SP. My kid dropped the game boy in the toilet. After letting it dry out for a couple of days, I then turned it back on to see if it would work. It worked just fine but when the original battery in it finally reached the point where it needed to be recharged, it wouldn't take a charge. I then read online that water can damage the battery and you need a new one. So, I checked with Nintendo and they wanted $20 for a new one. I then found this replacement battery on Amazon for only 1/10 of that. So, I bought it and the game boy has worked just fine ever since. I would highly recommend this battery.

If you only need a battery for a week or so, then you should get this one. It will no longer hold a charge. Not the gameboy, because I tried it in another one and it still did not work. Save up and buy a better quality battery.

it worked for a week and then it wouldnt hold acharge. maybe i got a bad battery or something happened to mt gameboy but it wont charge!

i purchased 2 replacement batteries a for nintendo ds. 1 battery worked fine and the other was completely dead. the game would not even power on. in order for me to get a battery that worked, i would have to PAY to ship the broken battery back and the pay a THIRD shipping fee for a battery that may or may not work. TOO MUCH TROUBLE! RATING:had to give 1 star because of default.

Not sure how to answer that. It is a battery. It works. I works very well.

The battery for whatever reason will not hold a charge. After leaving it plugged in to charge all day, I can only get 1-2 hours of play time. My older battery gave me more life than that. I would suggest not buying this product.

I can't say I wasn't warned. Read reviews and several said that it was a bad product, but more said it was good. Took a chance and I am one of the burned. I was happy with the screwdriver that they sent, easy to install. Charged great overnight. Used it once. Went to recharge and it won't hold a charge, not even for a second. So beware. Learn from my mistake or else just try yourself and you too will be the owner of a very tiny screwdriver for the price of the battery.

I ordered this replacement battery for my sons GBA. The package came fairly quick. After charging it up for 24 hrs it came on for about 10 min. & never worked again. So evidentally I was sold a broke battery.

Original battery with our Gameboy was not living up to standards. This was a great replacement.

I thought buying a replacement battery wouldn't be worth the hassle but this was a steal, almost literally.
