This is a spiffy-looking globe, but it's not very tough at all. My first one lasted two months before my son dropped it. The arm snapped in two and couldn't be glued. So I ordered a second one. That one arrived with a broken arm. I sent it back and gave up. The plastic arm that holds this globe is just too fragile.

The globe itself is fine. The stand is so flimsy it arrived already broken. (I didn't damage it while removing it form the box; before I opened the box, I could see the globe lying at the bottom with the stand broken off through the side of the box.)

I also wish it showed a physical scale rather than just noting that the scale is 1:32,000,000.

It's a very nice ten-dollar lunar globe. It's very detailed but easy to read.

The construction does seem a little fragile, but it's a ten-dollar globe. I wasn't expecting cast iron. As mentioned in an earlier review, it will break if it's dropped. Big surprise. Most things will. Try not to drop it.
