This is the best live recording I think I have ever heard come from a rock band.
Mike B.
It has a permanent spot in my CD player and each time I listen, it brings me back to the actual concert.
Shane
They present themselves again with great energy and intensity and most importantly they are credible.

I've been a huge Tesla fan since 1986. Unfortunately, I've never seen, or heard them LIVE.
Now we've all heard Teslas' "5 Man Jam", but that's not really what I would consider a LIVE recording. It's just a bunch of guys sitting around having fun.
This is what I've been waiting for, and now it's finally here....
This CD is so awesome!!!....Tesla sounds so cool LIVE. All of their best songs are on here, and all of them rock!!!
If you've ever been skeptical about buying a LIVE CD, don't worry about this one. This is one, if not the best LIVE CD's I've ever heard. The sound is crystal clear, and the songs on here are incredible. When Iron Maiden released "Live After Death" back in 1985, I never thought anybody could make a better LIVE album. Tesla has now reached that status. This Cd is packed full to the rim with power.
I sure hope Tesla goes back into the studio, and then starts touring again. What a great treat this Cd is for all of us, I'm just so thankful to Tesla for putting this out for all of us. They are true to their fans, and when these guys decide to ROCK, they ROCK HARD!!!......This is the best CD I've heard this year.
GO BUY IT NOW!!!
TESLA RULES!!!!

AWSOME is the only way to describe this album. If you are a Tesla fan GET THIS ALBUM!!!!!!I have seen them live 2 times, both worth every penny of my money.I am surprised it took this long to come out with an electric plugged in album because they are so good live.It is good to see the boys back together again. This will quench my thirst until the new studio album comes out in March.Oh and to VH1 you called Tesla a 2 hit wonder band? This album has 20 reasons why you were WRONG!!! A MUST BUY!!!

Tesla came on the scene around 1986. Here it is 2001 and they are back together with one hell of a live disc. It is everything you have heard before, but this time arranged in about the best song order imaginable. "How's it sound though? It is a LIVE cd." The simple answer is GREAT!! This is the best live recording I think I have ever heard come from a rock band. The mix is near perfect. There are the occasional sections where a guitar could cut through the mix here or there, vocals could be brought up a little but this is a live version. It wont be perfect and that is what adds to the completely raw/heavy sound that comes through. Tesla is back and I personally cannot wait for them to 1. Come out with a new studio album. 2. Come to my area again so I can be a part of the live magic that this disc makes you crave for. (Note: They have been to my area dozens of time throughout the years and I have yet to see them due to my personnal Tesla curse. This will end and I will see them)

One more trip into the past unearths this recent live collection from regular joe rockers Tesla. What you find on here is great song after great song, particularly on the 2nd CD. "Gettin' Better" and "The Way It Is" sound better than their already impressive sudio versions. You can tell the band is having fun on stage, whether it's on the Aerosmith influenced "Mama's Fool" or the cold war anthem "Modern Day Cowboy." Jeff Keith's rasp hasn't changed, nor has the acoustic/electric interplay between guitarists Frank Hannon and Tommy Skeoch. That they can do songs as different as the country-ish "What You Give" next to the rapid fire riffing of "Edison's Medicine" is a testament to their talent and staying power as a great rock band.

After hearing of the reunion in Oct 2000, I just new things were going to get better. Listening to this cd makes you feel you are right there center stage and rockin, from Cummin' Atcha Live to Modern Day Cowboy. The songs on this double live bring back emotions and memories of some of the best times I've ever had. The dedication to their fans and sheer energy of this band comes out in the recordings from several different cities across the US. This cd is dedicated to the memory of A.Ruben Cano-June1969-June2001. Someone who was just a fan who brought out feelings in the band which make them who they are......... an incredible five man band who know the difference between everyday life and the glamour of stardom. It shows in the music they have given which has touched the lives of so many. It's electrifying!!!!!

What can I say about this CD? This may sound like a fan blowing smoke, but it's quite simply one of the best live recordings EVER. Whereas many live albums sound faked or overly-produced, "RePlugged" actually sounds like Tesla live! The volume level of the CD is louder than anything I've ever heard before. I don't know how the band managed to get that much sonic power transferred to CD, but I'm very impressed.
The performances by the band are outstanding. First of all, EVERY important Tesla song is represented on this 2 CD collection, so there's no "I wish this song was on here" complaints. The band is in top form at this point in their career, being older and wiser. This maturity is evident when you listen to them live. They simply blow audiences away at EVERY show, and this live collection proves that point beyond a shadow of a doubt.
To sum it up, if you are a fan of Tesla, or simply a fan of high-energy guitar driven rock music, you owe it to yourself to buy "TESLA- RePlugged LIVE". You will not be disappointed. I promise.
NO MACHINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
