5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended guide
This book is exactly what it says it is: easy to understand with thorough explanations, and without all the frills that aren't necessary nor wanted. It is very concise and I didn't have to wade through a textbook to figure out what I needed to do. I would strongly recommend this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not What I Was Looking For
Unfortunately, this book simply reiterates the steps of how to file that you can pretty much find all over the web and off the IRS' own site. It offers very little new information unless someone was starting completely fresh, although a couple of the checklists are nice reminders. Unfortunately, this book simply reiterates the steps of how to file that you can pretty much find all over the web and off the IRS' own site. It offers very little new information unless someone was starting completely fresh, although a couple of the checklists are nice reminders. What I was hoping for was not just the sample forms and checklists, but some suggestions or examples of things like original statements to the Court and stipulations. I would think that anyone who was really considering representing themselves instead of retaining an attorney, would have already gleaned most of the information this book provides.
