This review is from: Representation Theory of Finite Groups (Dover Books on Mathematics) (Paperback)
This book covers mostly matrix representations of finite groups.
Substitution groups and Klein groups are not covered ,
but I was pleased to find a good definition of Module
and a good introduction to the use of characters.
I bought it for a reference and for future study.
It isn't what I would call a math book for the faint of heart
or for beginners. More of a math majors and graduate text.
for science students of quantum groups.
It also lacks a bridge to classical Lie Algebra theory.
Looking for a coverage of Clifford algebra and quarternions?
That is not here either.
