How My Students Learned to Write in Spanish,
By Helen E. Williams (Huntersville, Nc United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 15 Reproducible Spanish Write-and-Read Books (Grades K-2) (Paperback)
I bought this book at a local book store on a whim. Usually, my kids like to try and guess the outcome of a story, so I figured they would like to try their hand at writing one. We had a ball. They especially loved doing it in Spanish. My kinders and 1st graders had some trouble, but my 2nd graders ate it up!

Disappointed,
By randi fuchs (Lincoln, ND United States) - See all my reviews

I was disappointed when I got this book. I intended to use it with my first and second graders, but this being only the first year for them to have the Spanish language, they couldn't understand the words and there were quite a few words on every page. First graders can't read very well yet, anyway, so I've only used one story out of this book so far this year. It would be more for third graders because of the level that it's at. It would be nice to have an English translation for each book so when the students read it at home, they can remember what the book was about.
