I highly recommend this book. Eastern Europe is too often forgotten by western scholars and little exists for those who want to do research about various topics pertaining to women;s issues in the various Central and Eastern European countries. This book of various essays proved to be very informative and helpful when I was writing my thesis on sexuality in Poland. Like I said, one of the few books available that stricty pertains to Eastern Europe. A fountain of information that anyone interested in gender or Eastern Europe will love.
