Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

From George Bush's Auschwitz blunder to Bob Dole's convoluted vision for America, the most baffling, outrageous, and just plain dumb things to escape Republican lips are gathered in this zany, irreverent collection. It presents Republican anti-wisdom in areas ranging from education and the arts to homosexuality and family values. It gleefully exposes what they say about Democrats, what they say about America, and what they say about each other. Past blunderers like Reagan, Bush, and Quayle are presented along with today's crop of bombasters and the wisdom of past leaders such as Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt are added for contrast.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is hilarious!, July 31, 2000

This review is from: Republican-isms: The Bloopers and Bombast of the Grand Old Party (Paperback)
It is so funny! We all knew that politicians could at times be really stupid, but this book proves it even more. It has some quotes that I had not caught before and now I certainly wish I had. I'll warn you, this book will have you laughing for a long time.
