As I said: 5 stars for the movie, 1 star for the DVD.
This is a review for the Criterion Blu-Ray version... BD buffs will already attest to a 'no contest' that BD picture and sound quality surpass that of any DVD.
The tension and horror ramp up so very slowly during most of the story that we are quite far into the movie before we realize we are watching a horror film.
