Sarge lives again!, March 15, 2003
This review is from: Reputation (Audio CD)
The Reputation is Elizabeth Elmore's new band. Her previous band was Sarge and this album picks up where Sarge's 1998 release "The Glass Intact" left off. The sound is very similar -- sort of a poppy, jangly, punkish, emo type sound. Like Sarge, The Reputation's songs are very personal and heartfelt combined with tons of great pop hooks and guitar licks. For people interested in the band, check out their web site at "reputationmusic.com".

The Reputation Lives ON!!!!, May 25, 2006
This review is from: Reputation (Audio CD)
I have to say this is one of my favorite albums. If your an indie kid inside you will love this album. This is exactly where Sarge left off. Elizabeth Elmore has been rocking for more than a decade and keeps going strong with The Reputaion. Highlights of this album I have to say is Misery by Design. At this moment the band is unsigned. Lookout Records dropped allot of their bands of the lable and are now only going to be putting out re-issues. Check them out on myspace.com..

When I put this on, indie rock kids and mainstream music fans alike start dancing. There is no better music for road tripping, house cleaning, or just rocking out.

amazing. amazing. amazing., February 20, 2007
This review is from: Reputation (Audio CD)
I fell in love with Elizabeth Elmore's previous band, Sarge, long after they had broken up. And then The Reputation came along. I got my hands on a copy of this CD as soon as I possibly could, and I'm damn glad that I did. The lyrics, the vocals, the music, it's all incredible. I can't put it in any other words.
