Like others I suspect, I didn't know who Eric Bogle was until seeing him in person at the Philadelphia Folk Song Society. He and his buddy were great, probably the best I've seen there. I looked through the descriptions of Bogle's albums after that concert, and think this is the best one. There are some great songs here, starting with the famous "Waltzing Matilda". His serious songs such as this one are memorable, but I really enjoy the funny items, particularly "Bloody Santa Claus" and "I'm big". Buy it, you won't be sorry!
