1.0 out of 5 stars US Jingoist Fluff Not Worth the Paper It's Printed On, February 4, 2011

This review is from: Requiem in the tropics: Inside Central America (Hardcover)
Perhaps a decent case study in the paranoid delusions of the American right in the 1980's. But as a historical, factual, serious political contribution it has about as much credibility as George H.W. Bush promising "no new taxes." Perhaps it is for the best that I am the only reviewer of this ode to third-world repression, as it has faded into the dark abyss of obscurity. The death squads of Central America are a stain on humanity's history, and the historical (and at the times, enthusiastic) support of the US business class (and their allies in government) for their reign of terror and murder should haunt any decent human being who still has a conscience.
