Product Description

The benefits of Omega-3 Fatty Acids have been widely studied and written about by researchers, doctors and respected medical associations over the years. EPA and DHA are the two polyunsaturated fats ("good fats", not like the saturated fats that increase the risk of heart attack); EPA and DHA are also known as Omega-3 Fatty Acids which are primarily found in marine sources, not vegetable oils. These two essential fatty acids help prevent diseases such as heart disease and atherosclerosis, by both lowering triglyceride levels and raising HDL (the "good" cholesterol). No other marine capsule even approaches the level of EPA and DHA found in Res-Q® 1250. Res-Q® 1250 is not just fish oil, Res-Q® 1250 is a pharmacological grade of EPA and DHA, the active ingredient found in a specific type of fish. Res-Q® 1250 is super refined and purified and that's why it works. Each bottle contains 200 capsules Each Liquid bottle contains 17 Fl. Ounces.

My bottle of Res-Q Power of the Sea Omega-3 supplement 1250, lot # 77341 Exp 03 2016 contains 200 softgels. Each softgel supplies 390-425 mg EPA and 300-325 mg DHA as ethyl esters and is not “fish oil.” It appears that they don’t know what the real concentration is, and they give a range perhaps due to variability from batch-to-batch. This is one of the few products that I see where they give a range. I gather this is being honest since probably those values on other bottle labels are incorrect and really are ranges. Hard to imagine that all those labels on products can have the same identical absolute amount of EPA and DHA per capsule since the concentration of omega-3s varies season-to-season, location-to-location, and species-to-species in fish. A range is probably more realistic and gets around misleading advertising since many fish oil products that are tested do not have the concentrations stated on the bottles. Most of them are lower than what is on the label.

This product Res-Q 1250 enjoys marketing fiction by stating, “is the purest, most potent form omega-3, EPA and DHA, available.” “Res-Q 1250 is the gold standard in pharmaceutical-grade omega-3 supplement on the market today. Its high-grade EPA and DHA formulation is unsurpassed in superior quality, molecularly distilled, and manufactured under the most stringent pharmaceutical guidelines.” This product is a low-grade ethyl ester omega-3 with several saturated fatty acid ethyl ester impurities and is not the “purest, most potent form” neither is it “pharmaceutical grade.” What is disturbing is that they have fallen to the same tactics as many products by listing “Omega-3 Fatty Acids” content instead of listing the total amount of oil concentrate or “fish oil concentrate.

There are many fish oil products on the market with prices all over the map. What is most important is the the grade and purity of the EPA and DHA. This is what you're paying for. What sets Res-Q apart from the cheaper brands is this product is a pure pharmaceutical grade Omega-3 Marine Oil. It is highly refined removing all traces of mercury and other contaminants. When comparing this product look for Pharmaceutical Grade on the label, you probably won't find it. I have been using his product for over 10 years and it has lowered both my cholesterol and triglycerides. Because this is the number one Omega-3 supplement prices are high. Do a Google search for price comparisons, I pay $33.00 a bottle. Highly recommended.

Every year for 10 years, my cholesterol levels have been over 200mg/dl. No matter what I did, the levels steadily increased. I further limited my fried foods (home cooked and takeouts). I minimized my cholesterol (especially eggs/shrimp) and fat intake. I ran 3 times a week. I later researched and found that as we age our level increases, naturally. In addition, high cholesterol ran in the family (heredity).
In June 2013, I had my annual blood test and I found my cholesterol to be at it highest ever. My total cholesterol level was at 267, LDL at 180, and non-HDL cholesterol at 190 (HDL/Triglycerides normal). As an upset and confused patient not willing to take meds, my doctor scheduled another blood test in 5 months. So disturbed, I spoke with family members; they suggested "Res-Q 1250". Within 3 months, I took 1 gel tablet, daily (bottle suggested 4). And let me tell you, my total cholesterol level dropped from 267 to 251, LDL from 180 to 170, non-HDL cholesterol from 190 to 182 within 3 months.
I am pleased with the results; I have increased my daily intake of 2-4 gel tablets for my next blood test of 2014.
I would suggest this product to anyone with a cholesterol dilemma. Be sure to consult with your doctor.

Great product - best on market - apart from the constant fishy burps all day - but after eating a lemon flavor i can feel inside all the day. It helps to understand the freshness of this product. It also have a consumers lab best ratings. So there is no doubt about the purity.

I've been suffering from high blood pressure and my snoring's been a constant issue with my fiance. My father-in-law also had hbp and was taking medications for it. After taking Res-Q 1250, his results are now normal. After a month of taking these, I can happily tell you that my high blood pressure is under control and my snoring has significantly lessened.
