The product came very quickly and I am very pleased with the way the order was handled. The price was unbeatable, and I am a very frugal shopper. Ther blades are high quality and buying in quantity is the way to go when you have 3 dogs, from a beagle to a flat coated retriever with all 4 dew claws.

Trimming a large dog's toe nails requires a sharp blade to not cause damage to the dog. When the blade gets dull it needs a good quality replacement blade. These blades do the job and last longer than others I have tried.

When I think of a "kit," something like the word "survival" comes to mind. I think Resco got a little carried away by calling this a kit. This is simply 6 blades in a plastic case. Sure, the case can be resealed and stored in a drawer. But for this to be a true trimmer kit, I'd expect something like a small tube of oil to lubricate the blades, (like the ones included in a hair trimmer kit). Let's agree to call it nail trimming "tackle" (like fishing tackle).

Now, about the blades, I don't find mine to be particularly sharp. The blades from my Four Paws trimmer (a rival brand) were sharper out of the box. However, I'm hoping that these Resco blades will maintain their durability longer than my other blades. The box for the Resco trimmer says "Made in America," but this trimming--tackle--doesn't label its origin outright. It's so precious to buy anything that's actually made in the US anymore that I want these American blades to be top-notch!

It's safe to say that most purchasers of these blades do so out of frugality; how fantastic it would be to be able to sharpen these blades at home!

I've been cutting my dog's nails for about a year now, and have observed how a dull blade causes him to wince in pain. On first use, this Resco set of blades cut smoothly and cleanly. And for that, Resco, you get a fourth star for throwing in the miniature brass nail, but I've got my eye on you. Let's see where the pieces fall.

These are hard to find in stores. Resco is a great nail trimmer the only one I will ever use. It is nice to have replacement blades on hand when I need them. FAST shipping and good value! I would use this seller again.

I've been using the Resco Jumbo set of guillotine nail clippers for a long time now. The blades are usually sold one set at a time for a very high price. This 6 pack is the cheapest you'll find the replacement blades on the internet.

All the blades fit each of Resco's dog nail clipper sizes, so you can't go wrong there either.

I bought two packs of these blades. That was a mistake. Not because they don't cut good, they do its just that you really only need one blade and a round diamond blade file to sharpen it when it dulls. I've got enough of these blades to last 10 dogs' lifetimes. Save your money go buy a sharpener from Fleet Farm for $20 and keep just one blade sharp. No need to treat these blades as disposable.

Purchased these to replace worn clipper blade. These are nothing like the original blades. They aren't sharp, and they don't cut nails at all. Had to return them and buy an entirely new set of nail clippers.

Don't like these. They arrived ok but they are not really very sharp. They work well for cutting pills but not dog nails.

My husband ordered these and we were very happy to find that the product was exactly as described and a good cost savings from anything we could find in a store. I would recommend if you have basic dog clippers (for medium to large dogs).

Never got to use the replacement blades I purchased for this clipper because the clipper fell apart the first time I used it.. Return to Amazon was totally painless.. Would not purchase these blades or the clipper they are for ever again..
