A Kid's Review
This review is from: Rescue Dog (Paperback)
I liked this book because the dog told the story. I shared this book with classmates and they liked it too.

If you are interested in seeing how search/rescue dogs are located and what it takes to train one you will enjoy reading this book.

It is easy to read.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Rescue Dog (Paperback)
I found this book easy to read.

I found this book informational for someone who would like to train such a dog.

I liked the way the book tries to discribe the issues the dog has to contend with from the dog's point of view.

I let my friends read the book and they liked it also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Job!, March 9, 2005

This review is from: Rescue Dog (Paperback)
I think this a great childrens book about a disaster search and rescue dogs life and training. It will give kids an education on the fundamentals of disaster search dog training and intertain at the same time (making learning fun, as it should be!)

Written by a person who really knows and actually does this type of work, I enjoyed the way Al Duncan wrote this from the dogs perspective. I hope for more like this in the future so I can read them to My Grandkids and educate them further on the wonderful ways in which dogs inhance and help improve our lives.
