This is a GREAT toy. The Rescue Hero toys are the best I've seen in a long time. As a mother of five I've seen a lot of toys over the last 20 years, (my youngest is four) These toys are really worthwhile and encourage postive values and real heroism unlike many toys on the market today. To the reviewer whose son was not yet three, your son is still a little young. When kids are about three and a half they really start playing with them, for hours actually. My sons rescue heroes have had numerous long adventures in the bathtub as well (as long as they have no electronic devices) These rescue hero toys are on the top of my list for preschoolers.

hi, im 10 years old and i really like this toy! there are so many diffrent things it can do, it is well worth the money!!! there is a little vehicle thing that a rescue hero can ride on, the front of the ship can be used as a spacepod (the ship is NOT a good flying toy but the space pod is simple to fly),the front and the vehicle can be made into a giant robot,the top can be made into a hang glider, and one of my favorite parts: IT HAS A COMMAND CENTER WHERE THE RESCUE HEROES REALLY INTERACT WITH EACHOTHER!!!! I have two mission select robots with thing i call "backpacks" and their names are matt medic and gil gripper. they are also compatible with the command center. i also have a cool robot called fire stomper and billy blazes. NOTE (the fire stomper comes with billy blazes and neither are compatible with the command center but fire stomper can move in a neat way!) then i have the robot that came with the ship.

in my opinion out of all the people i have billy is the best :)

you may be wondering why a 10 yr old is playing with this but i know a 12 year old and many other 10 and 11 yr. olds with this toy. i don't play with it like let's go put out the fire, or something, i play with it like the robots are attacking and stuff, very fun toy! i totally recommened this toy and these other toys below:

My son recieved this for his 4th birthday. He is a huge rescue heroe fan and has several of the figures and command centers. He instantly fell in love with it. It is big but all of the command centers are big. He loves this one because it can be played with in different ways. I love it because when he is finished it all stores inside the jet. My older children play with him and they enjoy it also. I think it is a great toy and we love rescue heros!

I don't think there is a single Rescue Heroes thing we don't own. This Jet is one of my sons favorite toys. He uses it like a central command and doesn't care that he can't "fly it"

My son kept seeing the commercial for this on a Rescue Heroes DVD we had and he had to have it for Christmas. After getting tons of RH stuff from Santa and family members, this ship and his new Kenny Ride figure are his two favorite presents. He loves playing the commands, opening the two main hatches, flying the front of it around with Billy Blazes driving, and making the Megabot with the attached robot stand.

It's very big, and Just think of how massive this looks from a kid's perspective! He even likes kneeling in the back when it's fully opened, and pretending he's riding in it. Back when I was a kid, the Star Wars Millenium Falcon was the ship everyone wanted, and that was big, but this topples even that! While he can't pick it up and fly it, he has no trouble sliding it around the floor.

There are a few drawbacks: It's so big, I am the one who has to lug it up and down the stairs in the house. You have to take off the back wing assembly in order to open the rear hatch. Also, the green ramps that slide out, are difficult for him to place into their locking slits on his own. You need to apply pressure to the back door, to push it back slightly, in order for the ramps to lock into place.

Other than that, he loves this toy, and likes using it as headquarters better than the Mountain Command Center. One of his favorite figures was CD Moon, so he also loved getting a second one, in a maroon space suit. My son loves space themed things, so that made him like it even more than just a Rescue Heroes toy! Highly recommended for the RH fan.

My son (4) desperately wanted this toy for Christmas, well he got it and it's sat in pieces ever since, not that we haven't put it together because we have, several times, he played with it initially now it's a huge waste of space that everyone falls over, he much prefers the Police Car and Fire truck. It's not worth the price, is bulky and hard to play with and unless you have unlimited space darn near impossible to keep out of way.

We have many RH vehicles. My boys are all about vehicles, and things that "go." This thing is just too darn big to be much fun! They can't "fly" it...and although it has many other features, they just aren't into that. They prefer their vehicles.

After playing with it at a friend's house, and not being all that impressed for more than a couple of minutes, we decided to buy the Rescue Heroes Dune Buggy and Robotz vehicle. This one just seems like too much "hype" for the money.

I gave this toy as a gift to my 5 year old son for Christmas. I see two issues with this toy: 1) It is so big that my son will not be able to hold it and pretend that it is flying. He might get a couple of minutes of air time, but his little arms will be too tired after that. 2) The little space capsule that connects to the front does not stay attached very well. Even if the little guy could make the jet "fly," he would probably be stopping frequently to reattach that module. He does love the sound effects and it is fun for him to play with as long as he likes it grounded.

This is a great toy. My 3 1/2 year old just got it and it has many different things to play with. There are so many differnt ways to play with this toy i think he'll play with it for a long time - it's big but i think it is a good value.

This was the only toy my son requested from Santa and what a letdown. I think that Fisher Proce rushed it for the holiday season because it does not compare to the quality of the other toys. It falls apart and really does not do much for the size or promise of the ads. I hate this hunk of junk that now takes up a lot of space and I have learned my lesson for next year.
