I sort of bought this series on a whim, like I do with many things. I can say without a doubt this is amongst the best dramas I've ever seen. The characters are deep and real (many times in a real ugly way) and how I feel about most of the characters is complicated. I find myself going back and forth between rooting Tommy (Dennis Leary) on and dreading his next move. His relationship with his dead cousin is my favorite character psychosis since Tyler Durden in Fight Club. That's not to say the other characters aren't equally as interesting, and I find myself drawn in by even Probie Mike's little side stories, which done incorrectly could have been a real show hinderance. My only real complaint about the show is that no one can stay happy for more than a couple episodes before they do something screwed up or something screwed up happens to them, but that's been the case with every great show I've ever seen. Definitely worth checking out.

Awesome series! Great value. I enjoy the brutal honesty of Denis Leary and encourage others to sit-back in awe of what firefighters have to deal with daily.

My title says it all. I have to discipline myself to not watch the 4 or 5 shows at one sitting. Now I am only allow myself to watch it when exercising on the elliptical because I was staying up so late. I need to go the Rescue Me rehab it is so addictive. The other day when I was driving into town a red Jeep passed me and I looked to see if Franco was the driver. I LOVE it. When is season 4 coming out?

Rescue Me is a good show. A friend of mine let me borrow his copies. I liked them so I bought my own copies. I will say I was surprised at the extreme overtones in it. It's definitely an adult show and not for kids so be careful.

I had never seen an episode, so I decided to catch up. We're stationed in Germany, so watching TV on DVD is a great hobby. Rescue Me is brilliant and a ton of fun to watch. Definitely not for children!!

I didn't receive product. When I notified Amazon, I quickly received a refund. Rescue Me Three Season Pack (The Complete Seasons 1-3) Not sure what happened. I will order again.

Well, the series is great, I think, but the service here is AWFUL. I saw this deal and thought it sounded awesome, so I purchased this set as a Christmas gift (Dec 08) and have yet to recieve it or hear a word as to what happened. I have inquired several times to the seller, and have got no response. It is now May 09 and still nothing. This is the worst service I have experienced on Amazon. If you don't wish to spend money on something you will never recieve, then do NOT buy from here. Pay a little more else where, but get what you pay for.

I had not heard of Rescue Me & now I'm totally hooked. The sellers (3) of these DVDs shipped the items exactly how I ask them & fast. Will continue to make purchase from these sellers!

Its great to have a show that shows people in a real setting.
It does push it sometime, but you feel for people in the show, and in some way you can relate.
Plus it has hockey!
