First off let me tell you that this toy is made for the younger child. My son 5 enjoys it for a bit but totally loves his webkinz as long as he does not have to read (b/c he can't read yet LOL) My 3 yr old daughter though discovered this toy through her 8 yr old cousin and loves it. It is right for her age. Webkinz though she loves to play in the room the games are a little bit over her head yet so as soon as she played with the epet she wanted one. It gets used everyday and i can leave her to go do my chores and not have to help her around the sight like i do with the webkinz.

This is truly made for the younger child. If you have a young child who is wanting to have a webkinz like the older sibling and is not ready for it yet then this is the perfect toy.

The only down fall has been that the sight does get stuck a lot not sure why that is the only frustrating part with it. IF you have a child 5 yrs old and is smart at the computer and can figure things out with out reading like my son don't waste your money hear get a webkinz.

My neice loves this. It's small enough to carry everywhere and just enough online fun for a 5 year old learning the computer.

This toy is being loved and enjoyed by my youngest daughter, who is 7. She totally loves pets and was so excited to get her first E-pet. She has been learning to take care of it ever since. She even figured out a way to link it with one of her best friend's pets online. It's been a great toy all the way around! It's cute, fun and educational for the pet lover in your home!

My 5 year old got this for Christmas. She has several webkinz but a little girl in her class has an "epet" and she wanted one. **We bought ours for $9.99 at WalMart WHY are they so high here?** First, as someone else mentioned, only one person can pick a name EVER so let's say your daughter names her dog Spot then no one else can. Duh! So you end up choosing stupid things like blue123. Also, you earn money easily and quickly on webkinz but it takes for-ev-er to earn it on myepets. Sometimes you earn money on games, sometimes not. You can earn $20 a pop for sending ecards but how many people does a little kid know to email? Also, on webkinz when you add a new pet it puts more funds in your acct - apparently not at myepets. DD bought the dalmation puppy with some christmas money and we added it but didn't receive extra funds in the piggy bank. Overall, a rip off. The toys are adorable and the site has the *potential* to be a good site especially for 8 and under but they need to make it easier to earn funds, give a funds gift and a couple of accessories with each new pet added to the acct, etc...

These epets are very cute but not worth the $30 we paid for them. Nor are they anywhere near as intuitive as Webkins. The Webkins site is so much better and clearly epets copied their site as best they could get away with. My children played on epets once or twice then abandoned their epet and its website for their bazillion different Webskins and their specific Website. Save yourself mucho dinero. Buy your child a webkins for $8-$15 and watch them explore an incredible virtual world of learning and discovery.

Disappointed in this purchase. Never did the seller mention that this puppy was the mini puppy. These are sold in stores for $9.99. I was under the assumption that this epet was the larger ones since it was $21.

My niece loves they pets and I have bought her several. Always a hit and I highly recommend
