Thorough. Good for the student new to research design. The chapter on APA style was especially helpful; it simplified what often seems complicated. Not a statistics course. Associated website very helpful in how to do a literature search.

By textbook standards, this one was phenomenal. This is the only textbook I have actually thoroughly enjoyed reading. B&A did an outstanding job of taking a seemingly bland subject and transforming it into a rich and interesting subject worthy of your attention. My only gripe with the entire textbook would be about five minor grammatical errors I noticed :P

This book was in better condition then expected, shipped quickly and arrived ontime. I will definitely order books from them again in the future and recommend them to friends & family.

I have not read this book, but I caution other shoppers that I believe this is the study guide to the main text and not a paperback edition of the original. I'm not sure about this, but the price matches those on other web sites for the paperback edition of the study guide (which bears the same name). Be careful.

I am very impressed with this textbook. First off, I'd like to say that the font is very easy on the eyes, double-spaced and can be read for hours. The authors are very thorough throughout the book. What I like a lot about this textbook, is that the authors will tell you what they are about to talk about and how it relates, before discussing a particular topic. It isn't choppy like most text books, the sentences are very coherent and easily flowing. The book also contains everyday examples and statistics sprinkled around to keep the viewer tuned in. In all honesty, Research Methods is going to be dry regardless of the author-but I really like how this book was put together! My respects to the authors.
