About the Author

Dr Alison Jane Pickard is course leader for BSc(Hons) Information and Communications Management, BSc(Hons) Information Science and BSc(Hons) Librarianship at the University of Northumbria, where she is also ICM dissertation coordinator. She teaches Research Methods in ICM as well as other subject areas, and has project managed a number of JISC and AHRB research projects.

I have a number of research methods texts. This handbook by Jane is very well written and very easy reading. Text communicates research methods very clearly. Great for beginners and advanced users
