Good book to help guide nurses new to doing research for their advanced degrees. Helps to focus in on strategies and topics instead of blindly doing the studies.

This is an excellent text to use for an advanced nursing research course. The book is well written and practical. My only "complaint" is that there haven't been any further editions since the original 1999 publication. The chapters on statistics is very useful and the overall research process is nicely explained from beginning to end. Hopefully, there will be a second edition in the near future!
