Good, but dated,

This review is from: Reservations and Ticketing With Sabre (Travel Professional Series) (Paperback)
This book is badly in need of a new edition. I picked it up because I work for the company (Sabre), and I wanted to get an user's perspective on our software. For this purpose, this book sufficed - I got quite a bit of insight as to how our software is used in "the real world", but far too many of the examples in the book were badly out of date and didn't work with modern Sabre systems.
Still, overall it does a good job of tying together all of the Sabre functionality, although it's fairly airline-specific; hotels, rental cars, and packages are covered, but each gets only a single chapter, whereas the remaining 13 chapters cover air reservations and ticketing.
