The only thing to consider is it would benefit from a faster method of giving items between your two characters like throwing them across the room or sliding them on the floor. This one is also technically inferior than Resident Evil 1 remake because the zombies don't break thru doors & continue chasing you.
Point is both Resident Evil 1 is better, next is Zero, 3rd is Resident Evil 4. And that's just reality because look at the prices on Amazon. The remakes are worth more than any of the recent releases 4-6. This game is more challenging & doesn't give you hints or make situations easy. You have to figure it out. I definitely recommend this game.
Would have been nice if Capcom could have done something to remove the black bars from either side of the screen before re-releasing this game.
Would have been difficult for them to do so as all of the backgrounds are pre-rendered stills and would have had to have been redrawn in some way, and may have drastically changed the way the game plays.
I was going to get the remake of Resident Evil 1 for the Wii as well, but after I saw the mediocre presentation of this game on the Wii, I decided against it.
