If you have the GameCube version, do not waste your money unless you are a major collector!! That being said...This game still rocks! I have been playing this game for a very long time, and I never get bored with it. THis game is very creepy, and atmospheric. Lots of fun! I really dig the co-op play in this game. You can control both Billy and Rebecca, and you can also exchange items. I also love the fact that you can drop an item and come back for it later (if you lack inventory space). This game has it all (in my opinion). If you love killing zombies, you will enjoy playing RE games (espcially this one).

With the latest Resident Evil games, the formula has changed. Gone are the days of intriguing puzzle solving and true SURVIVAL horror. Resident Evil Zero sticks to the original survival horror formula, which is guaranteed to have you biting at your fingernails. The Wii controls consist of the the Wii controller and the Nun-chuck, which after a little getting used to become rather natural, and quite honestly, fun. The graphics, although slightly aged by today's latest standards, are non the less beautiful and captivating. With a component video cable for your HD TV, the quality can be slightly improved; however, the game will stretch the game image rather than truly portray it in full 480p wide-screen. Through a receiver with Pro-Logic sound capabilities, one can play the game in surround sound, which although not the same quality as true 5.1 encoded sound, is still very successful at keeping the player immersed with all kinds of scary sounds (lightning, zombie moans, etc.) If you would like the benefits of simulated surround sound, a fresh approach to controls, and happen to own a Wii, then this is definitely a good purchase. If you already own this game on the GameCube, then I would refrain, since it's the same game without a few hardware (not software) perks.

I must rely on my daughters insight on this one. I don't play video games. She seems to enjoy it. I will definitely purchase from this seller again. It was packaged nicely and received it in a nice time frame.
