This is definately one of the most suspenseful and entertaining soundtracks around! If you want music different from what you normally hear, this would be a recomendation! Take my advice, the best tracks are The opening:clair, piano roll, Suspended doll, alexia type 2, and ending credits. Resident evil fans will be pleased! ^.^

If only game soundtracks were released in their original form when sold in US stores...a prime example would be the the Final Fantasy X soundtrack, which is really 4 CD's in length, but sold here as one (in a sense, giving me a reason not to buy it). With a 4:1 ratio like this, one would guess that only 1/4th of the tracks. This soundtrack, Biohazard CODE: Veronica X is really 2 CD's in length, and as such, I can list several tracks that are missing; one of them being one of my favorites.

However, most of the great musical tracks in the game are present on this CD. Tracks like "The End of the Begining", "Murderous Eyes" and "The Code is Veronica" are quite simply easily as good as music can possibly get! "Murderous Eyes" is THE perfect theme for a scene that kicks off an apacalyptic climax, "The Code is Veronica" should be our nation's new into-action marching theme, as it's intensely heroic, and "The End of the Begining" is, well, let's just say it goes beyond amazing. These three tracks are alone worth the purchase of this soundtrack!

Not to say that the other tracks aren't as good. Altogether, this is easily the greatest soundtrack of the Biohazard/Resident Evil series, and considering some of the others in it, that is saying a lot!

This soundtrack is packed with action, madness, death and misery, in a perfectly bridged gap between the music sheets they're written on, and the scenes they represent. Final Vertict: the music on this soundtrack is phenomenal, but if you can, buy the 'Biohazard CODE: Veronica Complete Soundtrack' instead of the 'Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X Soundtrack', because the Japanese soundtrack is more complete.

This could have been one of my favourite Resident Evil game soundtracks, expect for one thing, which I will get to later.
The compositions here are far more varied and elaborate than those used in the previous games. In the game there is a recurring musical motif that takes the form of a nursery rhyme/folksong about a king and queen, and it appears on the soundtrack as music-box tune, a vocal song, and a piano solo version, all of which are beautifully done. There are of course many aggressive and more typical "fighting" style compositions, but its the slower and more lyrical piece like these that really stand out. Luckily there are also more highlights. The eerier locations of the game have creepy and tense soundtracks, such as "Suspended Doll" and "Deja Vu", which add tremendously to the atmosphere, and which sound great here. Plus the musical themes for the "Tyrant" attacks, and one of the best boss themes I have ever heard, the menacing and chilling slow thud of "Nosferatu"...an oustanding piece of musical accompaniment. But it's here that the drawback of the whole album becomes obvious...the tracks are waaaay too short. Nosferatu's theme clocks in at barely over one minute, and nearly all the good tracks are around this length, making the whole album just a series of tasters. Maybe I'm spoiled by Squaresoft's Final Fantasy albums, which span 4 discs, and feature tracks from 3 to 7 or more minutes in length. "Code Veronica" has some fantastic pieces of music on it, why could they not have let them play out for a little longer and let the atmosphere from the game truly come across. For this reason, I can only rate the album 3 stars, as this brutal editing makes it so much less fun to listen to.

Well, I would like to say that the music is AWESOME, not to mention the game. If you have a PS2, Dreamcast or GameCube I highly suggest you buy it, if not rent it and give it a try. It is a very good game. But anyways, this is about the soundtrack. The soundtrack has vedry good sound quality, DO NOT TRUST THE SAMPLES! It has much better quality than those things. If you are a fan of creepy music, the game or just plain MUSIC you might want to listen to this. There are lots of good tracks on here, I think some of the best ones are (I have the complete version, sorry if I list one not available) The Suspended Doll, Piano Roll, The Opening: Claire, Lachyrmal, The Ending of the Beginning, Murderous Eyes, Alexia Type 2 and the Complete End Credits. But the most important part of this review is to tell all you people that there is a much better soundtrack with almost EVERY song (only one missing is one of the zombie attacks but that is it!) so buy thi one instead! Its more expensive, but its worth it all the way! Please buy that one instead! That soundtrack gets a 5/5!

Well as far as i'm concerned this cd is tha ... and one hell of a cd , i mean it's the most unique resident evil cd than all others my personal favourite tracks are"the code is veronica" , "theme of alexia 1" also i like the "piano roll" although it was a short track but a very good one, and last but not least "theme of tyrant" is an exellent track.
anyway this cd is a must buy for any resident evil fan.

If you like Resident Evil, or you like the music (or have a few of the games/CDs) this is a must have. All music from Code Veronica and from CVX are on this must have CD. This music by Takeshi Miura is more of an upbeat pop type, along with some of the good old scary music. From "The Movie", to "Still Alive", "Love?", and "The Theme of Nosferatu", this CD is full of 46 spin tingeling songs. I rate it a 6/5 starts!

I own a couple of the Resident Evil soundtracks (as well as numerous other videogame and movie soundtracks) and was not so impressed with this one.

While there are a few really good songs, there's a lot of mundane and rather mediocre ones, compared to some of the other soundtracks, in my opinion.
If you're a hardcore RE fan and love the music, then definitely get this- especially since this one is far cheaper than some of the other rare ones, like the RE: Nemesis soundtrack.

This one had about 5 songs I really loved and another 10 or so that I thought were okay. The rest, I thought, "meh".
One plus- a lot of songs 40+, so there's a lot and you may find them more entertaining than me!
