5.0 out of 5 stars A Soundtrack worth Listening Too!, September 25, 2009
This review is from: Resident Evil 5 / Game O.S.T. 3 Disc Set (Audio CD)
This is by far the best soundtrack i've listen to! This soundtrack is better than Resident Evil 2 OST.

Yes, the Album has alot of tracks and the tracks are in the game expect for one. Throughout listening to the album, i was like "oh yea! This track was in when chris and sheva were in this part." The sound track will send chills down your spine when you listen to it. I'm going to list where you can hear some of the well knowned tracks so you can get the feel of the soundtrack.

Majini II can be heared when you are in public assembly (towards the end of chapter 1-1), and you are surround by the zombies. It can also be heared in chapter 1-2 when you shoot the key off the dead corpse and as soon as you pick up the key, the track will kick in. Also when you meet Irving and the masked lady for the first time. After Irving saids "Suckers!", The track will kick in.

Executionner can be heared in numerous spots throughout the game. It can first be heared in the end of chapter 1-1 when the executionner comes and swings at the gate to bring it down. It can be also heared when Chris and Sheva split up for the first time (When chris has to provide sniper support for sheva so she can open the bottom door for chris). The track can be heared when you enter the mining facility. After you use the zipline, An majini chainsaw will appear and the track will kick in.

Two on Two can be heared when you fight Wesker and Jill. Thats about it.

Sad but True can be heared when you have to take off the device off Jill's chest and she trieds to kill you.

Trust can be heared in a cutscene where Jill talks to Chris about how Wesker is going to release the uroboros if Chris does not stop him. The cutscene is called "Favor From A Friend" and can be seen if you go to the library and go to cutscenes. . It's right after Sad But True track.

Sky-High Skirmish can be heared when Chris and Sheva board the plane and fights Wesker in the hanger scene. Go to the library, go to cutscenes and look for Sky-High Skirmish.

Rust In Summer 2008 can be heared in Versus mode. You can hear the track when you are playing Slayers or Team Slayers.

Killers can be heared in Versus mode also. You can hear the track when you are playing Survivors or Team Survivors.

Trust me on this, this soundtrack is worth listening too. Yes it comes with 3 cds but the eeireness and spine thrilling sounds of the tracks will make you wanting more of Resident Evil 5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally Awesome Score!, March 24, 2010
This review is from: Resident Evil 5 / Game O.S.T. 3 Disc Set (Audio CD)
Wow!! What an incredible project. Capcom has done RE fans proud with this massive (3 disc!) set. Each volume presents a different side of the game's formidable score and I seem to enjoy it more and more each time I hear it. While this score is lower budget and far more horror oriented than the Halo scores, it is every bit as well written and produced! The theme song is tragically beautiful, and the multitudes of action cues are flat hair raising! I can't recommend this set enough to RE fans looking to scratch an itch and relive some great gaming!
