About the Author
George Abe is currently a venture partner at Palomar Ventures, investing in high technology and digital media start-up companies. Previously, he spent five years as Consulting Engineer and Manager of Business Development at Cisco Systems. His specialization at Cisco was residential broadband access networks, consumer uses of the Internet, and digital media content development. He provided support for Cisco's entry into the cable modem market and was involved in consumer electronics business development.
