It's such a jewel of a book. The first time I read it, it lifted my spirits and energized my body so that I felt that I could accomplish anything I wanted. All I needed to do was begin. And you know what? I've read the book again and again with the same results. I have finished so many projects and fulfilled so many dreams...all because of THE RESILIENT SPIRIT.

This is one of those little books with a powerful punch. I can open at any point and be reminded of that resilient part of me where there is strength,celebration and inspiration if I just tap it. Even the drawings are joyous. And it does it without being "gushy" or sentimental. I want to share it with my colleagues, friends and clients--we can all use some of this.

I travel and speak for a living, (spending about 200 days on the road a year). "The Resilient Spirit" has been a great resource to help me stay focused and to remind me of just how easy it is to "get it back" when that focus has dissipated. It is small enough to fit into my briefcase and I do not go anywhere without it. Any time I am looking for a little help in finding my resilience, I know it is there. You really must own it and share it. Everyone will get something from it. My 17-year-old daughter made me get her a copy. Thanks Eileen!

This is one great book!

The Resilient Spirit book was created in the wake of 9/11 and remains relevant today given our ongoing world troubles. We're burnt out, afraid, unhappy and alone. This book is the answer to our prayers. It helps us connect with our humanity and teaches us to bring out the best in ourselves despite what we may be suffering. This is a great gift book and looks like it can be customized when bought in large quanitities.

This is a physically beautiful, deceptively simple book that makes you think deeply and take steps to clarify your life's path. If you have heard Eileen McDargh speak, you know that high energy, bouncy spirits, integrity, and experience somehow find a balance and produce wisdom of the heart that also speaks to the head. The Resiliant Spirit captures in words that same balance and makes it available in accessible language. There are a lot of self-help books out there but this one actually helps the self. I loved reading it and was frequently touched by McDargh's optimism which never surrenders realism or mature wisdom to be encouraging.

This light hearted self help book shows you how to relax and think things through with a logic you never knew you had.
