About the Author

Robert L. Heneman is a Professor of Management and Human Resources and Director of Graduate Programs in Labor and Human Resources in the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Rob’s primary areas of research, teaching, and consulting are in performance management, compensation, staffing, and work design. He has worked with business organizations and universities in North America, Europe, Russia, Asia, and Africa.

David B. Greenberger is Associate Professor, Chair of the Department of Management and Human Resources, and Academic Director of Information Technology at the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He received his B.A. degree from The Johns Hopkins University, both an M.S. and Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was a post-doctoral research associate in organizational behavior at Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Business. His current research focuses on the role of temporary workers in organizations, the impact of technology on alliances and virtual organizations, factors surrounding the growth of professional service organizations, time and leadership, and issues involving pay satisfaction.
