Now a member of the D&D records team, Krumb is the first to rep with his new solo(excluding D&D project # 2 which is also worth checking.)This is indeed a very brief album (11 tracks) opposed to his last effort w/ about 16 joints(Snatcha Season pt.2), but the new one is a much more focused effort.He's linked back up with Dj Premier & Guru for the track INCREDIBLE(which is just that). And Mr. Walt(Beatminerz) is back on board lacing Closer to God pt. 2 & Rich Man poor Man.D&D production squad members also on board for this journey are Curt Cazel(Prison Song),Arabian Knight, Easy Mo Bee(What's Life), Nottz (oxygen),and Eric Wes(Steinen) whom is probably the least known of the staff laces the albums 'gem' with King of all Kings ft. Jahdan.To top it off Krumb autographed the c.d.'s booklet(it looks real) but even if it isn't BIG UP KRUMB!Keep holdin' it down for the Bean

I enjoyed this album pretty heavily, the production is not innovative but it is extremely above par. A lot of jazzy production, soulful female voice samples, all constituting an excellent blend of great music. Of course the rugged rhyme content generated by the d&d all star is expected and it satisfies. I recommend this album to anybody with an ear for good music or a penchant for hip-hop. Very solid release and definitely worth 5 stars for production alone but about a 3 for lyrics. The average of sums is obviously a four--hence the rating. If you want something to impress your ignorant "hip-hop" cronies--rock this in your set.

Another Boston emcee with incredible lyricism! With his new production team, the "D&D" clique lacing tracts for this lp, it should have been better. Imagine if Canibus had the production talents of Premier, Curt Cazal, the Beatminerz, Alchemist, Arabian Night and Nottz! Who wouldn't want this "dream team" of producers? Yet, with such talent and experience, most of these producers put togeter sub-par beats and here in lies the problem with this lp. The lp's best two joints "Rich Man Poor Man" (produced by Da Beatminerz) and "Incredible F/ Gang Starr" (naturally produced by Premier) certainly don't dissapoint, nor does the Alchemist produced joint "Streets is Calling" and "What's Life" (produced by Easy Moe Bee). But there are more dissappointing moments here than bright spots. For example, the Boogieman drops a horrible verse on "Oxygen" and Buckshot sings a chorus on "Nobody Move." Even Craig G didn't impress with his guest apperarance. What keeps this from being a total disappointment is the vocals of Snatcha. He addresses such topics as the woes and consequences of street life, revenge and the importance of maintaining a positive outlook on life, despite the obstacles you face. Hopefully on his next output, the "D&D" production team will live up to their abilities and lace my man Krumb with some better beats.
