"This is great for cozy swaddles and warm. It is our favorite swaddle blanket. We have found swaddling to be even more effective as she has gotten older (3+ months) and has wild movements that keep her from sleeping until she is swaddled."
"These are useful, both for swaddling and burp cloths and nursing covers. Nice and light for warm weather swaddles. They do have an organic version. We were given as a gift."
"Great for around the house getting stuff done. I used when she was newborn in restaurants as I felt was a little more elegant than the Ergo and she always slept in it. Haven't used lately, but when she is big enough I think she will like facing forward. I used while sitting on a big exercise ball to eat and type on computer."
"Supposedly these are 60% biodegradable and don't use toxic chemicals. G-Diapers are probably the most eco-friendly but make a bit of a mess and my husband refuses to use them, so we are currently using these."
"These were great when she was a newborn. As she got older, I think short sleeve onesies are more useful for under pajamas, but it is hard to find full snap organic short sleeve onesies. Anything going over the head is just dumb."
"We got a hand me down which is I think this model. It is reclined enough that you can run with right away. The new one allows you to attach car seat so really can run right away. Rotating wheel is must have at least in NYC."
"We tried all the new fashionable bottles and she hates them. So when I had to leave her for a day my husband and in-laws when old school and this is the only nipple she tolerates. Apparently they used to be even better and more breastly, but this seems to work. Silicone nipples did not work for us."
"Footie pjs are the only way to go. I'm not clear on why so much baby stuff is made that leaves their feet bare. It's not like they need shoes and socks do not stay on at all!"
"Great for washing face daily, with warm water to get out buggers, and can keep a bowl of water on changing table for wipes. Use each only once and toss. Not that eco-friendly as creates waste but nicer than wipes for baby butts."
"Not organic. We got a hand-me-down, but is extremely useful so you don't have to dress baby in big clothes when going in car seat because then have to readjust straps and big hassle."
"I actually have the multi-colored one which seems to be out of stock but this is useful for all the sweaters and carriers and toys you keep maybe in another room than the nursery."
"I find this very useful. I don't work yet, so is fine for pumping a bottle before you go out or something or just to have on hand. But if you need to store a lot of milk if you are going to work I would get an electric pump as I believe those up your production. It is great for travel!"
"I'm sort of torn on this. On the one hand one person can easily bathe a newborn, but my baby is already standing up in it and not getting wet and all her wrinkles (cheese factories) stay wrinkled in it so hard to get her clean. So I don't feel it is really necessary."
"Nice for the few times I wear a bra. My lactation consultant said to avoid wearing a bra at the beginning as can cause clogged ducts. I tend not to wear them anyway so was a good excuse."
