Book Description

1856354962 978-1856354967 December 31, 2006
æYouÆll marry the man weÆve matched you with, do you hear?Æ Rose crouched down as he bent over her. æYes, YesÆ she sobbed, praying heÆd leave her alone. æGood. The date is set, the 6th of November before 8 oÆclock mass so start making your plans.Æ Rose Quinn died in an asylum less than a year after being committed by her brother for refusing to live with the man she had been forced to marry. Such was the stigma attached to having a relative in the asylum that the story remained a family secret until it was revealed three generations later to RoseÆs great-niece, Patricia. The news catapulted Patricia into a dedicated search to find out more about the woman she never know existed. Shocking coincidences were uncovered and an unexpected spiritual connection in the family surfaced. This was to result in finding RoseÆs burial place û a plot behind the asylum, now known as St SenanÆs Hospital. For almost 100 years RoseÆs fate had been kept secret, but her spirit never died. This is the story of that restless spirit.
