I bought this product because of a kayak trip I was taking to a place where it was "leave no trace" and had to bring out everything I went in with. Everything, including doo doo! The bag design, although a little strange, is simple & functioned well. Each bag came with a small amount of TP, so that was nice. Two suggestions if you are to buy this product and use it -

1) Use one bag at home before going on your trip. Seriously, you should know what you're doing and what to expect before you're out in the wilds trying to use this for the first time with your pants around your ankles (and possibly in the dark).

2)You will want to take something along to put the filled bags in. Something that will absorb or cut down the order. The filled bags are compact and fold inside themselves. Although, not smelly to the point of gagging, there is still an ordor (during storage time along your trip).

I had to pack mine in my kayak hatch. The whole trip was sunny and hot, guess what that does? Although the yellow mesh bag (which comes with your order) kept all the filled bags contained to one, my whole kayak compartment had an unpleasant ordor. After the second day, I definately didn't keep my food, clothes, or sleeping bag in the same compartment during the rest of the trip.

I haven't found it yet, but I'm on the look out for some sort of an airtight container (that will also fit in my kayak) to house the filled bags for my next "leave no trace" trip. If you find something that works, please share it in a review. Happy Camping Everyone!
