He supports his arguments & gives you a LOT of relevant information... but in an easy-to-read and easily digestible way.

I bought the Hebraic Roots Bible, and this helped to understand what out Master Conveying to us in his teachings was.

I've reviewed several of the other books in Todd Bennett's Walk in the Light Series. Please allow me to ramble a bit with this one.

Having read several of the series books (Names, Kosher, The Sabbath, and The Law and Grace), I can assure the reader that it is safe to start ANYWHERE in the series. The author has referenced and footnoted heavily, and is consistently careful to bring the reader along with him no matter where they start, or whatever their background. I'll qualify that by adding that these books, including Restoration, are of use only to those who hold The Bible to be truth. This could include Christians or Jews. If you tried to pin a religious denomination on Bennett, and I don't think we should or that he would approve of it, he would probably fall closest to what is generally called "Messianic" (I think that he is not ethnically Jewish, I could be wrong).

This first book in the series, Restoration, is a good a place as anywhere to start in the series, and ESPECIALLY so for a traditional Christian believer. Bennett takes you back to the nature and practices of the first believers in the Messiah Jesus/Yahushua, and what became of them. That leads us into a look at the roots of "Christianity", and warts and all, lays out its pagan origins. Plenty of opportunity to get offended here. I hope you won't but I suspect the casual seeker will. Stay with it if you can. Don't worry, Bennett offers solutions as well as defining the problems.

I've been all over the place with "religious" books and I've never seen anything like Bennett's work. Refreshingly frank and true (stands up to critical examination). With one exception which I won't discuss here, I have found NOTHING that I can disagree with in his writings.

Please do read this.

"Restoration" by Todd Bennett is a book that every messianic believer should read.

Mr. Bennett communicates his points effectively and in an easily understood manner.

He provides a clear definition of Yisrael(Israel),Torah, and how the original "assembly" or Natzarim were much different than the Juadaism or Christianity of today.

The author explains what a disciple was in Yahushua's time. Talmidim is a taught one or student and how that applies to today

Todd Bennett describes the Creator's calendar and how it differs with the modern calendar.

Pagan symbols and names that are attached to Christianity are discussed from the perspective of an author that has experienced membership in a Christian denomination. Translational differences mentioned by the author are easily confirmed by consulting various translations of Scripture.

His chapter on the magi and "three wisemen" was intriguing!

Two themes of "Restoration" are Repentance and Renewal.

This is an excellent resource for any messianic believer and anyone that is seeking the truth of tradition vs. Scripture. I highly recommend this book.

There's so much to say about this book, I don't have the words! As a "Christian" I wish I would have read this book so many years ago, as it contains so much truth which has been hidden from the average church-going Christian. It really is eye opening and for the reader who values knowing facts, origins, and history (especially concerning organized religion, particularly Christianity) it will be life changing!

But............whomever put this book together did a terrible job because it fell apart when I started reading it.
The book was packed full of information on paganism. Good read if your searching for truth and no longer want to
just settle for what the church teaches.

Both my husband and myself have been very pleased with Todd Bennett's Walk In The Light Series. Every book has much information for those seeking understanding of our Messiah's Words, "Salvation is of the Jews" and the Hebrew underpinnings of our most set apart Faith/Belief. Any one of this series is an excellent source on its own, or in conjunction with the other volumes.

This book: Restoration (Walk in the Light, Volume 1) has opened me up to the real truth of my faith. You have to be able to do a lot of research, and take a lot of notes, and understand that the church has perverted & subverted what you have been taught. These will offend a lot of Christians. But take the time to do the real depth research, and you find what the real truth is. How the catholic Popes have twisted the writing to allow their greed for power and money influence the common christen. The Baptist, Methodist, and even the Pentecostals will learn the facts here. Please don't take anything for granted, TAKE NOTES, Do A Lot of Research on your own, believe no one.
One of the hardest parts to come to understand is that the King James Bible is twisted. I bought the Hebraic Roots Bible, and this helped to understand what out Master Conveying to us in his teachings was. The use of his real name Yeshua, and Messiah & Yahweh has also help understand all the emptiness that the KJV has left in me. As a "Christian" I wish I would have read this book so many years ago, as it contains so much truth which has been hidden from the average church-going Christian. It really is eye opening and for the reader who values knowing facts, origins, and history (especially concerning organized religion, particularly Christianity) it will be life changing!
