Book Description

The book that defines the concerns of the American patriotic citizen during these critical times in our free republic and suggests the steps needed to restore America to the founder's constitutional promise.

Restoring America’s Promise: A Constitutional America is a three part explanation of the deeply rooted beliefs of the average American. Part I draws a stark contrast between the original vision of the founding fathers of a limited Republic governing the free enterprise of the people; and the Progressive vision of a socialist utopia administering to the needs of the people as a collective society. Part II shows that humanity has evolved from the rule of the few toward the participation of the people in their own governance. This evolution came to the beginning of its destiny with the American Revolution, which set the stage for the freedom and liberties of all Americans and, we contend, eventually all of humanity. Part III is the Author’s contribution to the discussion of the solution to Americas’ Constitutional Crisis of philosophical destinies.

5.0 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTE MUST READ September 13, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Restoring America's Promise: A Constitutional America This should be mandated a mandatory read by Every American. The time and research accomplished by the authors Thomas Zaleski and Gary Welsh leaps out at you during your progression through the book. Chapter 1 The Founders Intentions Nails solidly the basis of OUR Constitution. As a retired US Navy Serviceman with a Ph.D. in History it is with great sadness to see the lack of understanding in so many Americans of Our Constitution. This book would and will eliminate this lack of knowledge in all who take the time to read it. All US History Professors MUST make this required reading in all of their classes, and all High School seniors would get a jump on their upcoming political obligations by taking a purview of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth your time to read! September 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As an author I understand the research required to write something like this, and at the same time keep it interesting...Zaleski and Welsh get the job done! I love history, especially the history of our nation's founding and the founder's intent as this nation was formed and went through its early growing pains. The authors not only get the facts right, they offer solutions and ideas to make the changes necessary, returning America to founding principles. This is not a "slash and burn" approach, they recognize we did not get where we are overnight and change will require time and education. If you love America and do not like the path towards European socialism she is on, you will love this book and its ideas.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for every library. September 25, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The Constitution is the most important governing document ever assembled. This reminder of of it's importance should be required reading in every home and school, especially at this time when the Constitution is being swept under the rug and at times under direct attack. Please read this book before voting in the upcoming election to understand how important your civic duty is to America. Well written, timeless and thought provoking.

Restoring America's Promise is a must read for all Americans. The authors relate new ideas and viable solutions that appeal to all American's, Democrat, Republican, and Libertarian alike. I was able to visualize the author's concepts, which related to me on a very personal (working class) level. I hope everybody gets a chance to read this book, it is definitely an eye opener! 1.0 out of 5 stars Thomas J. Zaleski is a foul mouthed RINO December 7, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Thomas J. Zaleski uses foul language to talk down to anyone who disagrees with his point of views. The book stinks too.
