Restoring and Collecting Antique Reed Organs
I purchased this book since it was recommended by various shops that restore these antique organs and I was interested in restoring one that I just acquired. The information is very good, but somewhat dated. The printing of the photos is very poor. I cannot use most of these photos in order to identify a part or see the detail needed in order to follow the written text...

I purchased this book since it was recommended by various shops that restore these antique organs and I was interested in restoring one that I just acquired. The information is very good, but somewhat dated. The printing of the photos is very poor. I cannot use most of these photos in order to identify a part or see the detail needed in order to follow the written text. Some of the author's suggested methods would work for someone just interested in getting the organ to work better, but is not really suited for someone looking to "restore" the instrument. But overall this is a good book for learning different approaches to restoring these reed organs.
