This 32 page bulletin from Storey's Country Wisdom series provided much needed info when we started to redo the old floor in a 1920's house a few years ago.
The publisher ceased printing this bulletin and has since incorporated it into a book entitled, COUNTRY WISDOM & KNOW-HOW - the most complete volume on every aspect of country living - from home and garden to barn and beyond. Country Wisdom & Know-How Hardwood Floors: Laying, Sanding and Finishing

Book Helped To Find Hidden Treasure,

My husband and I recently purchased a house with hardwood floors that were covered with tile and carpet. We followed the easy, step by step,instuctions and were able to uncovered the beautiful oak flooring hidden by the old floor covering.
