Restoring the Village by Jawanza Kunjufu is a well written, easy to read, to the point and fun book. This book covers the history of the Black community from the beginning to the present. A must read for those seeking a foundation whereby to empower oneself to make a difference in the community.

What are our values?,

In reading this book, you understand what the values of African-Amrericans are. Also, you get a better idea as to how we can restore ourselves as a people. The only way that this is possible is through the use of villages values which are discussed in this book. I recommend anyone this book who likes African-American literature with some truth to it.
