I did not find this book to be very helpful. The information contained in it is available on the internet in general without paying for it. I didn't find anything extraordinary in this book worth paying for. Also, most of the text was not aimed at and did not specifically deal with nursing careers. The resumes were formatted in a way that is not readable on the Kindle. The resume samples are so small that even with two pair of 2.0 readers I could barely make out the text and the format. The adjusting the font size option did not work on the Kindle when viewing the resumes. If you really feel you need to get this book then get the paperback it might be slightly more helpful.

I bought this book because it specifically said for nurses!!!
But it is NOT!!!It just a bunch of examples,and most of the time not even for nurses!!!

This book is exactly what is stated in the description. If you are looking for a book that will give you several samples of cover letters and resumes, this book is it. It is true that a lot of similar examples can be found for free on the internet, but if you want something portable and comprehensive, this will do nicely. I use this book to help new RN graduates formulate resumes and cover letters. It has dozens of examples of both with varying formats, wording and fonts. It is not only for RNs and has examples written by nursing students, CNAs, APRNs and other disciplines. It is NOT an all-inclusive guide to resume writing and job hunting. If that's what you're looking for, buy something more comprehensive. If you're just looking for examples to give you some ideas, this book delivers.
