I had never heard of Andrew Peterson until our small church performed his "Behold the Lamb" Christmas musical. It went over well and
I can't get the beautiful music and lyrics out of my head. I was compelled enough to order "The Resurrection Letters, Vol. 2 and
experienced the same result-great music and lyrics that won't go away. There is something to like in each album whether you pay more
attention to the music or the lyrics. It is distinctively different from the generic, middle of the road Christian pop/rock that is
out there in abundance today.

Did you ever begin to listen to a CD and then you were crying by the 6th or 7th time you listened? Ever listen to a CD where the music was GREAT, but the lyrics were even GREATER???? Did you ever listen to a CD where by the 20th time you listened to it you still thought it was getting better and better??? Well, this is that CD...folk-rock and soft-rock....

Every Andrew Peterson album has been great, and this one is no exception. I've listened to his music for eight years, nearly every day. Each time I listen to an Andrew Peterson song, there seems to be something more to it that I hadn't noticed before, like reading the Bible. Andrew Peterson's CD Behold the Lamb of God, The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ, tells the first part of the story of Jesus and has become a Christmas tradition in places as big as the Ryman (Nashville) and as small as our home. This current CD and the one scheduled to follow it (Resurrection Letters Volume I) tell an even bigger story in an amazing way. Like Behold the Lamb of God, each song on Resurrection Letters Volume II is impeccable, and listening to the album as a whole in one sitting to consider the big picture is profound. What an awesome and inspiring CD! The music and lyrics are extremely uplifting. Andrew Peterson is truly one of the most gifted musicians of our time. I only wish he were coming to Texas this year as seeing his "Behold the Lamb of God Tour" at Christmas has become a family tradition. We'll miss it, but listening to this great cd will be of great comfort till AP comes back to TEXAS again!!!

This little CD has quickly become my favorite. Some of these lyrics just stick with you. My favorite line right now is "The blood of Jesus is like the widow's oil. When it's all you have, it's all you'll ever need."
If you like Rich Mullins' music, you will likely enjoy Andrew Peterson's songs. They have a similar depth and beauty.

This CD is a regular in my stereo and on my ipod. LOVE it!! The lyrics are original and thoughtful. This was my first exposure to Peterson, and I am very impressed by his originality. This is a truly outstanding worship album by a deeply talented artist. I enjoy using this as relaxing background music while going about my day. It is calm enough to use as "sleep music" as well. Favorite tracks include Hosea, All You Ever Need, Invisible God and Hosanna. Beautiful.

A. Wrong. Deep truths through Imaginative lyrics set him apart.
Q. Is there a Resurrection Letters Vol I?
A. He put this cd together planning on going back and doing volume one later.
Q. What is the point of this CD?
A. AP gives the listener a little picture of a bigger world, a world which should be, and one day will be.
Q. What is the best song?
A. The Hosea song. Excellent!
Q. I liked the cd, are there others?
A. Yes. Buy Counting Stars, then Far Country, and then whatever you can afford. (And his books too!)
