It's almost ludicrous that the price of this book is equal to that of a music CD, given the potential impact to one's life if its teachings are embraced and practiced. 3.0 out of 5 stars It doesn't read well in the Kindle format
I love the information in this book, but I have to mark it down for the way it looks in kindle. The publisher should be ashamed of themselves for publishing this book so poorly in kindle. What's wrong you may ask?

Some of the words in the kindle form are missing!
Some of the words are very light almost unreadable.

This is ridiculous, this...

5.0 out of 5 stars Just Buy It,.. And follow it, and Be What this book Teaches, September 20, 1999

This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
It's almost ludicrous that the price of this book is equal to that of a music CD, given the potential impact to one's life if its teachings are embraced and practiced. It is IMPOSSIBLE to put a value on this book!! It is beyond any of the existing self-development or metaphysical material I've ever read, though the basic premise has been covered by many writers, even Napoleon Hill. While Hill spends some time covering how important it is to visualize your goals, Neville basically drills it into you in the deepest, most profound way, and his writings all hammer into you the exact method by which you need to "feel" as if you're already there in your desired circumstance, place, goal achievement, reality, whatever.
Neville illustrates the teachings of the Bible to show how the Bible alludes to how important it is to see yourself as you WANT TO BE, not what your 5 senses are seeing right now. If you're not religious, don't let this dissuade you. You will finally understand the wonderful symbology of the Bible and what It teaches you. In Resurrection, Neville convinces you that your desired reality actually exists, but you need to *feel* yourself into this reality without doubt, before it materializes....

A major difference between Neville and other more modern metaphysical writers is that Neville's teachings impress upon you the importance of Identity. Instead of trying to be a "doer": visualize and affirm until you believe something.. you instead assume the very Identity of the version of you that is already in that desired circumstance. How? With Feeling. Leave behind the version of you that is -wanting- and that is -lacking- in consciousness. Be consumed by that identity that you are now someone who leaves behind the unfulfilled version of yourself, *even* when the outside "facts" show otherwise. Don't feel lack, or "try to get something" with techniques.
Instead Be that which you desire, to the point that it almost wouldn't even matter if the outer material world reflected your desired life, because you are already being that fulfilled version of yourself and you Feel it.
----------
By the way, if this book is unavailable, first try several metaphysics shops, including the used section. Keep in mind, that this book is a collection of short pamphlet-size books, really. And the relatively new book, The Neville Reader, contains the vast majority of these mini-books!

The best minibook in my opinion: Feeling Is The Secret 1944, and another one I love is: Prayer: The Art of Believing 1945,.. but the whole collection is dynamite.

I bought the Neville Reader myself, even though I own Resurrection, so I'd
recommend the Neville Reader book regardless.

5.0 out of 5 stars LIFE CHANGING!, August 23, 1998
This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
This book, if you're ready for it, will help you achieve control of your life, power over your destiny, and the ability to create miracles in your everyday existence!

Sometimes words fail to adequately convey just how powerful a book can be. When I first read Neville, it was just after reading another book called 3 Magic Words. Neville's words seemed to be the next level of "how to" to the theory and principles of "Words". I recommend it highly, (You know you're ready for it simply by virture of being here at this website reading this..that's how the universe works!)

I recommend it in the Spiritual Growth list of my Millionaire University Booklist on my website!

5.0 out of 5 stars Mental pregnancy ..., January 1, 2000
This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
Neville, a prolific writer and lecturer deals with creative visualization and the transformation of consciousness. This outstanding book addresses: Prayer - The Art of Believing, Feeling Is The Secret, Freedom For All, Out of This World, and Resurrection. Memorable comments abound, including: change the future (216), rapport between the conscious and subconscious mind of the operator (14), be careful of your moods (76), the perfectly disciplined person (103), mental pregnancy (151), and as you judge others (171). As Walt Goodridge says in his Amazon review: This book, if you're ready for it, will help you achieve control of your life, power over your destiny, and the ability to create miracles in your everyday existence!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most important books I have ever read, February 11, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
I came across Neville a few years ago and was totally blown away by his writings. I read Resurrection at least eight times and everyone I have shared it with has enjoyed it as much as I have. It is simply a profound work of clarity and simplicity.

This book encapsulates with ultra-clarity, the process of having whatever it is you want in life, and he shares this process from many different angles to make sure you understand it, and also to drill into your head that this is the ONLY way to get what you are after and to stop looking for other ways, because it just won't happen. This is the ultimate formula for success -- as basic as it gets. Just one sentence in this book, will help you to have anything you want.

I do think he could have given more attention to how to let go of our resistance to having what we want. He is extremely clear on the process of how to have what you want, but he does not tell you how to deal with all the "I can'ts" that come up when we contemplate having what it is we want. I think this is where a technique such as the Release Technique can help a great deal - releasetechnique.com.

Neville's teachings show you how to cross the gap from wanting into having -- yet gives no practical advice on dealing with our resistance (our biggest obstacle to having what we want) other than relaxing the body and being persistent when thoughts to the contrary arise, which they inevitably will. But, I think that is the book's only shortcoming. Otherwise, it is an amazing book and well worth the money. Get it. You'll be happy you did. And if you feel it difficult to do the exercises because of resistance, be sure to check out the Release Technique also. That, to me, was the missing piece.

4.0 out of 5 stars Make Up Your Own Action Plan for SUCCESS TODAY!, February 9, 2001
This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
Ladies and Gentlemen, it is here! Have you been asking from yourself questions such as, "It would be great if I could make some $10,000 more a year" or maybe you have been looking for new friends, a new job or anything in that matter. Here is a book of irreplaceable value. Have you read many self-help and spiritual books, but still don't get desired results?

This book by Neville consists of 6 smaller books which were published earlier.. so actually you get 6 in 1. It is a good deal. This book does not give you many stories of other successful people, but it rather encourages, uplifts and explains you how you can make your own life to be the success story.

Whatever you want in your life -- here is a book that will explain you how. It is quite simple. The basic idea of all success is that things work in two ways... You can take the hard and difficult way or use the creative imagination faculty within you.

This book is just a few bucks...but can be cause you to succeed beyond your dreams.. Just give it a try, and you won't be let down.

Good luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars How to empower yourself into your maximum potential, May 22, 1999

This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
Of all the new age - self help - spirtual - books I have read in my days (quite a few), this is the one that is the iceing on the cake. Neville takes spirtually into a new realm. At times he almost become redudant and then he drives in a unique twist. Fairly easy to grasp, but profound enough where I needed to stop to absorb what I'd just read. Those from old school religion may be uncomfortable with his view of god and the self, though I found this enlightening

5.0 out of 5 stars Deep wisdom from a "Spiritually Mature" Neville, December 12, 2003

This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
I think on the cover of an earlier version of "Immortal Man" Margaret Ruth Broome mentions the lectures are from Neville in his "Spiritually Mature" years. This book contains the most "Spiritually Mature" material I've read in any of the book's Neville has authored. In this book is something new, he sounds like an enlightened psychologist. He describes the interaction between the conscious and subconscious mind and the role of both in manifestation. Overlapping he gives description of the subjective and objective mind. How different are these chapters of the books from his earlier writings. He now knows mechanically how it all works not just that it works. His words have incredible depth and understanding. I once read that Neville was regarded as "The Western Nisargadatta". I didn't think that title fit until I read Resurrection.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is 6 stars! ******, April 8, 2005
By
This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
I had seen this book on the bookshelf of the TS Bookshop in Sydney for months, and last month I picked it up. It has a simple cover with few words, but the wisdom, truth and insights within is priceless! The wisdom from this book are like from ancient scrolls hideen for centuries!

Neville talks about the power of the human imagination to create, and he goes into a few methods of doing it. There is also a chapter on Thoughts Transmission that is very accurate. He talks about our images of people in our mind are real links to their mind etc.

His technique is certainly unique and a little different from other New Thought writers who only stressed verbal affirmations. You will learn what Neville did to get himself out of the army in just 9 days and became a free man! No he did not run away, but he was honorably discharged by the colonel who disapproved his discharge application 9 days before!

Among all New Thought writers, Neville is up there with Ernest Holmes and Thomas Troward. Even the famed Joseph Murphy was a student of Neville!

If I could have only one book, this would be it. So clearly written, so completely informative; nowhere will you find what you've been seeking more clearly presented. Search no more, just begin doing and being.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Secret/Life Changing versed like poetry, March 7, 2007
This review is from: Resurrection (Paperback)
I have bought every copy I could of this manuscript. It is the deepest writing of life enrichment that begins to form the bridge between the biblical teaching and the science of life.
It is beautiful and prosaic in an elloquent text, that transfixes one. The first chapter is the most worthwhile read I'd ever experienced in the few pages that it comprises.
Finally, this book enriched my life, my practice, my family and my soul.
