Nicol Sponberg's (formerly Smith) voice is as formidable as there is in popular music. Resurrection is a powerful, uplifting record. The title track and Hallelujah are especially good, the latter making full use of her powerful voice with angelic choral backing.

If you like your Christian/Gospel/Whatever you want to call it music soulful, expressive, and dynamic, this is the CD for you.

Powerful music, powerful lyrics, incredible voice. It will lift you.

This is the best album I have ever heard in 61 years. Nicol Sponberg sings with all the strength of Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), Janis Joplin, and Cher (in her latter years), three of my all-time favorites. When you add to her awesome talent songs with messages like the title cut you have pure gold. I first heard her by accident when I was trying to play Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley and got Nicol's Hallelujah instead. I had never heard of her before and have since bought everything of hers I can find. I promise you that you will not be disappointed if you buy this album.

This CD has wonderful music. The lyrics, her voice, and her passion all combine to create a CD that provides a true blessing for the listener.

Nicol has been blessed with the most beautiful voice. Smoky and soulful the words pour from her soul. I love her and I love Selah. I hope she keeps sharing her gift with the world. I will buy anything she does.

Nicol Sponberg's voice reminds me of Annie Lennox, who I love. I am giving 4/5 stars because her voice is so beautiful on more traditional style songs.I wish the cd had one or two more.

When i ordered this cd, I did not realize it was a relgious CD...I fell in love with a song that I thought was written about a love she had...not knowing most of it was for God....it kinda gave me new insite....

If you love a voice with some soul in it you will love this one! Finally getting my hands on this CD was worth the wait.

Nicol rocks! "All That I Believe In" revives my faith like nothing else has. I can't wait to see her in person.

What a powerful CD! Nicol's voice is a gift from God and she uses it wisely. I love every song on this CD. There's a lot of crossover material on the CD in my opinion.
