The Resurrection of Samuel Clemens offers a glimpse into the future by relating the story of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain) as he is resurrected back to life in the year 2061. Grant Wakeman, a Twain aficionado, has the privilege of welcoming Mr. Clemens to a world wherein almost everything has drastically changed: the unholy trinity of corrupt politics, hypocritical religion, and greedy commerce has been eradicated. Politically, there is one world government. As to religion, there is no longer a professional clergy class. On the economic front, cooperation has superseded competition.
