An excellent discussion on psychiatric "taxonomy." It will stretch your thinking about psychological disorders and their diagnosis. The audience is the advanced graduate student in psychopathology or the interested psychiatric resident.

What I really think this book does that very little criticisms to the DSM fail to, is offer legitimate, plausible alternatives to the current classification system. Some of them (e.g., taxometrics!!!) are a bit harder to follow than others (e.g., prototype-matching). That being said, all the suggestions highlight the strong role that psychologists could have in decisions related to nosology.
