Jae-jin Yang is an associate professor in the Department of Public Administration at Yonsei University in South Korea. His areas of expertise are social policy and state theory. Recently, he has written extensively on the Korean welfare state and pension reform.

Thomas R. Klassen is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and the School of Public Policy and Administration at York University in Canada. He has written widely on comparative welfare states, especially on income security policies.

Thomas R. Klassen is a prolific writer on retirement, pensions, unemployment, gambling, discrimination, and how to ensure students succeed. He has written extensively about Canada and South Korea.

Professor Klassen's articles on current affairs appear frequently in newspapers and other outlets. He has also written about his travels and family life, as well as an original stage play, "Yet To Come."

Forthcoming is a practical guide that is easy to read and easy to execute to help young people succeed in school and in the workplace. Another forthcoming book is on the demographic crisis in South Korea. Lastly, he is co-editing a volume on global public policy and administration.
