A well thought out workbook on how the American Dream has become the American Nightmare. Home building has always been art combined with craft. When it became an industry something important was lost. Sam Rashkin has done a masterful job at sharpening the saw and other tools necessary to create a sustainable home building process for the future of humankind.

An amazing and thought provoking record of what's gone wrong in the housing industry. Sam's "Retooling the U.S. Housing Industry", plain English narrative of where we've been, are now and how to fix it should be required reading for all builders and design professionals, HIC registration holders and authorities having jurisdiction. I for one truly believe that the trade professional wants to do exemplary work but lacks the proper training or knowledge of where to obtain such expertise. I promise to do my part at spreading Sam's words, our very quality of living depends upon it!

Intelligence definitely worth the price. Well written, easily understood. Concepts explained well. I hope I'm able to bring these concepts to market.
