Balanced
Well written, engaging and balanced look at how to prepare for leading a retreat. In addition to nuts and bolts info, it encourages consideration of hospitality issues. I was required to purchase and read it for a class...enjoyed it and would recommend it to others considering retreat planning.

Review of Retreat Leader's Manual
This is an okay book. It's audience is definitely protestant so maybe that's why it didn't fulfill what I was seeking. It still had some good ideas for incorporating various key elements of a retreat: Spiritual senses through setting. Unfortunately, I was spiritual director for an upcoming Catholic retreat and I still struggled in the planning of our church's women's...
