This chair is perfect. I love it. This chair is very easily put together and super sturdy. It is exactly like the one my great uncle had in his yard, ahh the memories.

I odered this chair hoping to get one of the classic great Tulip lawn chairs I remember from the 50's. My mom still has one still in use in 2010. This chair, like everything else retro, looks the part but is not the chair of the 50's. Not by a long shot. However, for the price, it is a good value. Comfortable and sound. My family enjoyed it all summer and look forward to many more summers of service. Beware, assembly WILL require two people and a bit of upper body strength.

I bought these for my husband. Everyone had these when we were kids and it brought back great memories. I assembled them myself but you do need some strength because the spring tension of the arms gives the chair it's strength. The gauge of steel was a little less than the real thing but strong enough to not dent easily and support my bigger guests. We've had them for six monthes with no complaints.
